How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!

September 27, 2024, 12:00 PM
Greetings in Christ! I hope and pray that all is well.
Welcome to the Fall Season everyone! The calendar says that Sunday, September 22 was the first day of Autumn.

One of my favorite Christian writers C.S. Lewis once said, "Autumn is really the best of the seasons, and I'm not sure that old age isn't the best part of life." I agree with him about the season and, boy, I hope he's right on the old age part!
I love nearly everything about Autumn from the cooler temps to the beautiful colors of the changing leaves on the trees.
We've said a temporary "goodbye" to some dear folks recently.
We have also had some great ministry going on in Africa. You may read all about it in this email newsletter.

Africa Mission Trip Update:
28 Baptized in Tanzania!

Wayne left on Tuesday, August 13th on a 49-day, 3-country trip to Africa. The mission trip has involved Tanzania, Rwanda, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He's returning to the United States within a few days (late September/early October). The first part of the trip involved Rwanda and the Congo. The latter part has been primarily in Tanzania.

TANZANIA: We are close to finishing our mission trip to Africa.
On September 3-4, we were in Sumve. This is a good-sized town. We offered two seminars: What is the Gospel? and What does it mean to be a Christian? We had around 30 in attendance each day.

Here 15 were immersed!

We spent September 5 in Nyanguge. This is a rural location. Once again, we offered two seminars: What is the Gospel? and What does it mean to be a Christian?
We spent three days in this location last year and had 33 baptized.

This year, there were 13 people immersed!

On Sunday, September 8, we visited the small village of Kidunda. This area has a concentration of Muslims. The minister has worked hard to convert the Muslims to Christianity.  We had around 50 in attendance. They were open to hear the Gospel.

On September 9-10, we were in Morogoro and provided seminars on What is the Gospel? and What does it mean to be a Christian?Spiritual Growth and Discipleship to the group in Morogoro. They were receptive to the Gospel and asked several questions. We had around 18 in attendance.

On September 12-14, we worked with the group in Iringa by providing seminars on What is the Gospel? and What does it mean to be a Christian?Spiritual Growth and Discipleship. This was a group of ministers invited from the area to hear the seminars. They were receptive to the seminar lessons and there were over 30 present each day.

In Christ,
Wayne King / Executive Director
