Greetings in Christ! I hope and pray that all is well, and you had a blessed Easter, celebrating the resurrection of our Lord and Savior!
The nearly completed month of April has been a busy time for Mission Journeys and Global Bible School!
To begin the month, we had a mission team in Guyana, South America, on a week-long mission trip. On April 29th, our Executive Director, Wayne King, left for a 22-day teaching trip to the Philippines. We will see our FIRST GRADUATES through GLOBAL BIBLE SCHOOL! We have 5 men who are set to graduate from the Bible College studies we've led!
It's been an active month for our fundraising efforts.
On Thursday night, April 24th, we held a dinner event at First Christian Church (Lexington, KY) to update current donors and recruit some future ones. It was a nice evening with nearly 40 people in attendance (see picture below). THANKS to all who took part!
April also saw us launch this year's Twice Annual campaign. This campaign asks those who can help us to send a financial gift twice each year to help finance the expanding ministry of Mission Journeys/GBS. We request help during our lowest supporting months (early spring and late summer).
