Greetings! I hope and pray that all is well with you and your families.
I recently returned from a great teaching trip to the Philippines. You may read more about the trip in the article below.
I appreciate everyone who prayed for that trip and the ministry that took place!
Summer is upon us! We have several opportunities coming up and we are looking forward to it. One of those ministry opportunities will involve a mission team from Indiana coming to Eastern KY for a mission trip in July.
BTW: Mission Journeys is currently working in Appalachia in Kentucky and Belize in Central America.
In addition, Global Bible School (GBS) is active in six countries: the Philippines, Kenya, Guyana, Zambia, Tanzania, and Pakistan.

Philippines Trip - April 30-May 22, 2024:

Our Executive Director Wayne King left for the Philippines on April 30, returning to the United States on May 22.
Wayne preached at the Bulugo Church of Christ on Sunday, May 05, and taught classes - Old Testament Theology and Church History - for several students in the city of Ormoc (the province of Leyte).
In addition, the trip provided an opportunity to work with a church plant that Mission Journeys helped start last November. Wayne was there on Sunday, May 12. This church has a feeding program for area children in need.
Wayne also visited a prison ministry that Mission Journeys supports. You'll notice that one of the photos below shows people standing in a barrel. This is where several inmates were baptized! Praise the Lord!
Wayne plans to return in person to the Philippines in May 2025. He is hopeful there will be 4-5 students who will have completed their coursework and will be ready to graduate!
