Greetings! I hope and pray that all is well.
Welcome to 2026. I pray the new year is off to a good start for you.
The recently completed year of 2025 was a great year for our ministry, and we've jumped right into the new year of 2026.
Here are some of the highlights from 2025:
- FIVE GBS graduates in the Philippines!
On Saturday, May 17, 2025, we held our first graduation ceremony for Mission Journeys - Global Bible School. We had five graduates, two of whom earned master's degrees and three earned bachelor’s degrees. All five degrees were in theology. These men have been enrolled in Mission Journeys-GBS since the fall of 2019. - Ministry in NINE different countries!
In some countries, such as Belize (Central America), we have staff members on location serving year-round. Dan Underwood and his wife, Maria, continue to serve there as missionaries and are seeing growth in local church leaders they've been working with! - 65 BAPTISMS during our GBS teaching trips in 2025!
These decisions for Christ were ones that we were blessed to have witnessed. When trips aren't taking place, our partners are seeing God at work in amazing ways! For example, using our teaching/training materials, the mission/ministry in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, saw FIVE baptisms in December 2025! - 600 Christmas Shoebox gifts collected and distributed in Eastern KY!
During December 2025, we distributed shoeboxes in SIX locations. THANKS to all the churches & volunteers that supported this wonderful outreach.
We thank God for the great things that are taking place with Mission Journeys and Global Bible School!

Prayer Focus for 2026:
Matthew 7:7-8:
"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened."
Matthew 9:37-38:
Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”
Will You Pray for Mission Journeys?
- Ask God to be with Dan Underwood (BELIZE) and his health issues. Pray also for the congregation in Cotton Tree village and their continuing outreach into the community.
- Ask God to provide for the NEXT LEADERS of Mission Journeys: An Associate Director, as well as the appropriate LEADER to involve YOUTH in missions.
- Ask God to stabilize our FINANCES. We're looking for THREE CHURCHES that would give a minimum of $150 per month.
