Chuck Perry Memorial Scholarship
In December 2023, Mission Journeys announced that a scholarship at Kentucky Christian University was being established in honor of Chuck Perry (a KCU alum) for his years of volunteer service to Mission Journeys and Teen Mission, USA.
In December 2023, Mission Journeys announced that a scholarship at Kentucky Christian University was being established in honor of Chuck Perry (a KCU alum) for his years of volunteer service to Mission Journeys and Teen Mission, USA.
GREAT NEWS: After two years, the scholarship now has enough funding to be an endowed scholarship!
Funds from the scholarship will be distributed each year to KCU students studying in the Keeran School of Bible and Ministry who plan to serve as missionaries outside of the United States or plan to do mission work in the United States with a non-English speaking cultural group.
On Sunday, November 16, 2025, the scholarship was officially finalized. KCU President Terry Allcorn said, "This will ensure that Chuck's ministry will continue through the funds generated by this scholarship." Pictured (from left to right) are Greg Herriford and President Allcorn.
You can still give or continue giving to the scholarship.
Feel free to give through Mission Journeys. We will then forward the funds to KCU. However, please include a note with your donation indicating that your gift is going to the Chuck Perry Memorial Scholarship.
